They were sitting and talking while enjoying the music. There was a singer singing the songs. Another song started to play.

“Oh this song” Karthik said while groaning.

“I can’t stop myself now. akaay wanna join me." Karthik says. Anantha still didn't say anything.

“NO. i dont sing now” akaay said.

lair. anantha said in her mind and akaay turned like he heard her. she turned her head toward Karthik who raised eyebrows at her.

“Okay. then im doing this alone.” he said and stood up from his seat. and started to walk. 

akaay turned his head towards karthik who was walking towards the stage. He got annoyed and he ruffled his own hair. anantha almost smiles at his behavior.

A song was already playing and the singer started to sing. before karthik reaches there.

Tu Hi Hai Aashiqui,

Tu Hi Hai Awaargi,

Tu Hi Hai Jindagi,

Tu Hi Judaaa.

Karthik talked with the singer and took the mic. and started to sing. looking at Anantha. He was singing for her.

Tu Ibtedah Meri,

Tu Intehaan Meri,

Tu Hi Mera Jahaan,

Tu Hi Judaaa.

before karthik can sing. beside karthik a voice came. Karthik turned his eyes widened. It was akaay. akaay cant let win karthik. and akaay was singing for his brownie.

Anantha's eyes were only on akaay. akaay was smiling at her while singing. Karthik saw that and Karthik felt a pain in his chest watching her smiling for Akaay.

Karthik sang these lines while looking at her. making her more uncomfortable. Karthik was in love with her but at the same time he knows he can’t have her.

akaay sang these lines while pointing at her. and everyone looked at her. she blushed and covered face with her mask. akaay wink at her. and akaay blushed feeling cringe a little. But he wasn’t making it obvious to her.

but someone was burning jealousy. It was Karthik who didn’t like that. so he joined Akaay in singing other lines. akaay raised his eyebrow at him. Karthik shakes his head in nothing. They both started to sing in unison.

The songs ended and everyone started to clap. Karthik bent down to thank everyone. Meanwhile, akaay was giving a flying kiss to everyone to thank them. making Anantha chuckle lightly from far away watching him.

Akaay pov

I never saw her that uncomfortable. I looked at her sitting in the passenger seat. not talking at all. I think Karthik is the reason. She wasn't like this with Aditya. She seems like a whole different person. Did I ruin something?

“Ummmm” I should have asked her.

“Turn left,” she said without looking at me. She was admiring the nature on the road and I was admiring her. she looks so beautiful and peaceful right i should’t disturb her.

but wait she didn’t say anything. she didn’t even tell me to stop where i always drop her. Maybe I'm gonna see her house today. yesss. wait. I turned to her. she turned to me. she raised her eyebrows, my eyes widened and my mouth opened. 

I abruptly closed my mouth and cleared my throat and asked her while turning my head towards the road.

“Where are we going?” I asked , expecting the answer biting my lips.

“aaa my home” she stammered. I can feel her cheeks without looking at her. red tomato.

I didn't say anything further. I just drove quietly and didn't want to make the situation more awkward. In a few seconds I started to see a big gate between the trees. and I turned to her. she typed something in her phone and when i turned again to the road the gate slowly opened.

Wow!!!!

I said in my mind. I drove past the gate and there was a big yard between the tree. and a small house. I parked in front of the house. I came out of the car and opened the passenger door of the car for her. she came out and sighs.

“Come let me show you my house,” she said, smiling a little. She started to get comfortable near me. She doesn't wear a mask when she is with me alone. not in public.

I followed her. We stopped at the front door. She put the key in the lock and a screen came. what the hell. What is she doing? She pressed her thumb on the screen and unlocked the door. what the hell again.

she gave me a sign to come inside with her goddamn beautiful eyes. I left my brain out of the house and followed her inside, smiling like an idiot. 

It's not a big house like mine. It's small and pretty. I always dream about this kinda life. living with someone in a tiny house, kids and a beautiful wife without guns and blood.

ufff yeh mere mehnge mehnge sapna. 

“Sit here, I'll make coffee for you,” she said. and pointed towards the sofa. I did what she said. She put her bag on the sofa and removed her shirt. She was in her T-shirt. I saw her hands for the first time. olive skin. There was a scar too that I couldn't see properly. I don't wanna look like a pervert. but damn how many scars she has? and how did she get that?

“can help you.” I said and blinked my eyes. but it didn’t work on her.

“No, I'll do it,” she said.

She went to the kitchen. and the kitchen was on the left side where I was sitting. So I stood up from my seat and she looked at me. Then I walked to the nearby chair and sat there and now the kitchen is in front of me. She smiled and shook her head.

I smiled and didn't say anything. just silence was there. beautiful silence. she was glancing at me every second. and was staring at her non stop. 

After a few seconds she came with two cups of coffee. She gave me one and took a seat next to me. She sat a little close this time. We were almost touched. My heartbeat rose up.

with a shivering hand. I put my arm around her neck and pulled her towards me. She leaned on me. She put her head on my chest. I don't know what is happening right now. I don't think I have control on it. and she isn’t saying anything. God save me please. I stroke her hair. Her curls were getting stuck in my fingers. so i chose to pat her head instead.

Author Pov

After their sweet moment they were standing on the balcony talking and laughing together. It was 9 in the night. stars were shining bright. A cold wind was brushing their hair.

Everything was romantic. until akaay saw anantha’s lips.the way it's moved when she talks. the scar near her jaw. her neck everything. He tried to control himself, he turned his head toward the other side.

“What ?” Anantha asked him. She noticed everything. She wanted that too. She wants to feel that too.

“Nothing. i should go now it's late” akaay say looking at her. Before he can make this night more awkward he wants to leave without making any mistakes.

when akaay turned towards her. while saying this. Anantha made a move as she walked towards him. while biting her lower lip. 

akaay froze. He understood what it meant. akaay understands her so well sometimes anantha gets shocked like how does he know? For the first time in whole life he was frozen. He couldn’t move.

“Kiss me” Anantha said in a low voice and she stopped in front of akaay. closer. She can hear his heartbeat.

akaay couldn’t process what she was saying. not knowing how to react. thinking what if she is not ready for this? it will destroy their relationship if it goes wrong. He looked in her light brown eyes finding answers . There was nothing. only desire of getting kissed by him. 

Anantha nodded her head. seeing her eyes and little nodded he came close to her. Their clothes were touching . making everything sensual. their bodies heat up. without missing a second.

akaay put his lips on anantha’s lips. electricity struck their body. goosebump raise. heartbeat more fastened. The wind blew their hair in time. They paused there. savoring the moment. akaay try to move his lips. Anantha just pauses there. CAUSE SHE DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO DO IT? .

She wasn't moving so he pulled out. akaay thought he made a mistake. anantha blinked her eyes embarrassed of herself.

“I should go,” akaay says. He started to move.

“Wait no” Anantha said while grabbing his arm. holding him for her life. She thought he would leave her too. She was on the verge of crying.

“I'm so sorry brownie. I shouldn't have done that. i’m sorry i kissed you” akaay say while hugging her. She put her head on his chest.

She couldn’t put her feelings into words. She just stayed like this while akaay was stoking her back and then looked at akaay. and he looked at worried eyes. He was upset because he made Anantha feel like this.

And this time Anantha moved towards his lips.
