Later that same night at hospital 11:40

Hospital was in rush.  Doctor and nurse were run in operation theatre. Anantha and Maya got confused. What is happening?

“Doctor What happened?” Maya rush out to doctor and asked. 

“We can't say anything now.” Doctor said and went running inside operation theatre.

Maya came to me. I made her sit on chair. I sat beside her. She was worried and I was worried too.

We didn't know how long we sat there with wide eyes. Holding hands. The red light of operation theatre was on and our eyes were stuck there.

And the light got off. Maya took a breath I heard that. My eyes went to nearest clock. It was 3:57 in morning. My mind was racing with thoughts. I still felt something is off.

Doctor came out. His head was down. We looked at him in unison. He couldn't met over eyes.

“We couldn't save her” Doctor said without looking at us. And I froze. I couldn't see anything. There was only blackness.

“Noooooooo” I heard voice more like scream. I woke up. And I saw everywhere. I remember Riya. 

It was maya’s who was scream that woke me up. My hand were shaky. If she hadn't scream I would have been in panic attacked now.

I rushed to her. I hold her she was crying. So hard. She couldn't breathe. I pet her head lightly. I can't help her. I don't know how to soothe someone.

She sat on ground and I did same still holding her. She was crying it was almost an hour.

And hospital gate opened and Anantha saw Akaay coming and few feets away Nihal was running towards them. Why they are here?

Nihal came running to maya crossing Akaay. Akaay didn't flinch let him be. Nihal kneel beside maya.

Maya saw him and lean on him crying. Nihal holds her. Wrapping his arms around her.

Anantha stood up from ground. Akaay came in front of her. He raised his right hand in air. His thumb trasing her cheek wipping her tears She didn't know.

Anantha flinch. She didn't know when she started to cry. Akaay brush her hair with his hand. She closed her eyes. Just embracing his hand.

Then he went to maya petting her back. He knows maya had lost her sister. And nothing can make her alive again.

But he will make sure who did to her wrong. He will make them pay.

Few weeks later

Anantha Pov

Riya is gone. I opened my eyes. And sat on my bed. I took my phone and checked the message. 

Akaay:- Good Morning Brownie 

Anantha:- Good Morning 

I replied and went to change. After changing my clothes I started to practice. I'm getting good with knives.

In the middle of the practice my phone rings. I picked up Without hesitation.

Anantha:- Hello

Maya:- court had released them.

My eyes widened. But the next moment I laughed. Like what can we expect from these shitty people. Of course they will be released.

Anantha:- Don't worry we will do something okay.

Maya didn't say anything but I can feel she nodded her head. She cutted the call. I immediately calling him. And call answered 

“Hello Uncle” I said.

They were in college. Sitting and attending their class. Maya was still depressed not talking much. Nihal was little distance from her. Anantha was focusing on her mission.

“So class special announcement of today” professor Karthik says. And all students yelled .yeaaahhhh

Professor Karthik shhh them. They went in silent mode. Still murmuring in low voice.

“There will be an event for college aniversary where you can show your talent. Basically talent show will be organised.” Professor was looking at Anantha.

She saw professor Karthik’s eyes. She didn't blink. There was something in his eyes was making her freeze in place.

And Karthik got lost in her eyes. He Stopped in mid sentence until someone started to question him.

“So sorry. So students best of luck for the event. Class ends here.” He says and started to gather her belongings.

She was still in her place half of the students were left the class. The trio was still there. 

Karthik started to leave. When he reached to the door. He Stopped there. He turned his face towards Anantha. And she stood up from her sit with trio.

She looked at door. And he was already staring at her. He smiled and left the room. Anantha got confused. Still didn't say anything.

The trio were leaving the campus talking about riya.

“How can they release them? They even say that Riya seduced them. Like how?” Maya says.Anantha got another flashback. 

Her house wall was painted with words. Randi (whore) was written in big letters. With black ink.

 “Apki beti bohot uddti thi na aise tohhina hi tha” one aunty said.

“Hamare yaha randiyon ki koi jagah nahi he” some uncle said 

She was in bed lying helpless. Hearing every word coming out from their mouth. 

Then a loud noise came. Bang. Glass shattered. A rock came and fell near her bed. They were throwing stones on her window.

They were screaming.

She was in deep thoughts. She didn't notice she came out of the gate. And Akaay came to her. He waved his hand in front of her face. She flinched. And step back.

“Wait! Arey daydreaming about me?” Akaay said while putting his hand on his heart. Anantha widened her eyes. She blushed under her mask.

Maya chuckled a little. And Nihal like always rolled his eyes.

“But the way mere friends tumse milna chahte he if you are comfortable with that can I invite them today.” He asked her. Stammering little.

“Okay. Let's Go” she didn't say anything. She trusts him.
